In 2024, the song moved in an unexpected spiritual direction. The pre-chorus emerged during what Ish7iaq describes as a deeply spiritual and divinely inspired experience.

Following a personal breakup in 2026, he returned to the song, completed the record, directed its cinematic music video, and prepared it for release.

“Khoobsoorat began as a song about admiring someone's beauty. Over time, it became a reminder that the deepest forms of beauty don't always lead us to another person—they can also lead us back to ourselves, to healing, and ultimately, to God.”

Ish7iaq

Ishtiaq Hussain, professionally known as Ish7iaq, is a Pakistani-born songwriter, music producer, filmmaker, and creative director based in Melbourne, Australia.

Working across music and visual storytelling, his creative practice explores emotion, identity, memory, faith, and the connection between sound and image.

Throughout his career, Ish7iaq has collaborated with organisations including BBC, Dawn News, and Ethnic by Outfitters. He is also the founder of Raah Online, an art and music community that celebrates Pakistani culture and ethnic music.

In 2017, he became a founding member of the electronic music project Spear Shades, exploring EDM, house, dance, retro, and electronic music.
